Working together

Here is what actually happens when you reach out.

Email is the most reliable path. LinkedIn works too. I read everything I am sent and reply to most of it, and I would rather tell you plainly that I am not the right person than leave you waiting.

The sequence

No black box. Three steps, every time.

01

You send context

Company, stage, and the specific question. One paragraph is plenty. Warm intros are welcome and never required.

02

I do the reading first

Prepared-mind is the whole practice. I would rather come to the first conversation with a point of view than have you walk me through the basics.

03

We have a real conversation

If I can be useful, I will say how. If I cannot, I will say that too, and point you at the person who can.

Who this is most useful for

Tell me which of these you are, and I can be useful faster.

Founders

Pre-deck, mid-raise, or working through a hire, a GTM motion, or a customer conversation. Stage and the specific ask are enough context to start.

How I show up after the check

Co-investors and firms

Calibration on a company, a thesis worth pressure-testing, or a look at how the sourcing engine actually runs.

The sourcing engine

Firms hiring

Partner-track, advisory, board, or speaking. The whole site is the work sample, and references are available on request.

The deal sheet

Reference requests

Tell me which company or context you are diligencing and I will route you to the founder, partner, or operator closest to it.

Proof artifacts

Before you write

Most of what you would ask me is already answered on this site.

How I source, how I evaluate founders, what I think about AI, and what I actually did inside each company are all here, with the evidence attached. If something is missing, push on it in the conversation and I will either point you to the proof or tell you plainly that I do not have it.
